I’m Bruce Shimidzu, born and raised in central London. I’ve been working out for about 5 years, I started with bodyweight exercises, then moved onto a predominantly weights-based routine, which was followed by a mixture of the two and now I have been training solely calisthenics (and a bit of plyometrics) for the last year. I lacked consistency until about a year and a half ago, at which point I started exercising 5 times a week at least. Aside from the occasional injury, I have maintained this habit. I am a massive advocate for exercising as I believe it not only focuses the mind but stabilises it. Working out, whether it be in the gym, at home or outside in nature (now my preferred choice), has helped me through problems in the past and bettered my mind exponentially, I hope it can do the same for others!
