Bitcoin Events is proud to be the organizer of Africa’s first crypto and blockchain-focused conferences. Founded in 2014 by Sonya Kuhnel and Theo Sauls, Bitcoin Events was created to educate and inform people about the transformative opportunities that cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology bring to Africa.
Since then, Bitcoin Events has successfully hosted nine editions of the Blockchain Africa Conference in Cape Town and Johannesburg, as well as six editions of Crypto Fest in Cape Town.
