This channel covers New Zealand and international politics from a non-religious, conservative bent; from a simple agnostic and pragmatic perspective. I was never raised as a conservative; I arrived here on my own through life experience. That is, I have lived through and witnessed a better era than the present, a more conservative era (from the 50's to the end of the 70’s). An era when families were real; when divorce was rare; when solo parenting was frowned upon; when welfare was rare; when people were self-reliant; when there was no political correctness; when we had free speech; when we didn't have multiculturalism; when people knew right from wrong; when crime was low; when we only had a couple of murders a year instead of a couple of murders a week; when one man could support a wife and four children on one income; when……… the list goes on and on. And even though progressive-left ideologues know their ideology is failing the world they hang onto it, which truly baffles me.
