My music journey began back in 1980's when I was attending "Happy Home", the music school where I studied and practiced music passionately. I was there with my good friend Naeem Saeed . We together started the Pakistani music band “Jupitar" where I was the Lead Singer and Naeem was the Drummer. Later on I met Sajjad Akram and Sajjad and I formed a band called "String Fellows” in which I was, again, the Lead Singer. The band had the best years from 1980 - 1984, when we performed hundreds of concerts throughout the major cities of Pakistan.
Presently, I have a production company called “DFNY” productions meaning “Desi Fellows of New York.” My current upcoming album is dedicated to the people of Pakistan with regards to the everyday elements of life. My album's theme is to remind the people of Pakistan about the different issues in life in Pakistan that have become permanently active, and also to remind them about some important aspects which are disregarded.
