John Jemar: A Life of Faith, Service, Exploration
John Jemar has dedicated his life to the service of God and others, drawing from a wealth of experience and education. With 16 years as a Bible professor at WBU and decades of pastoral ministry across North Dakota, South Carolina, Alaska, and Utah, his journey has been one of steadfast devotion and spiritual leadership.
A published poet and scholar, John holds a Master of Divinityâcomplete with an intensive focus on Koine Greekâand a Master of Arts in English. Residing in Utah, he combines his love for God, Scripture, nature, travel, and family into a life well-lived and shared through his endeavors.
Currently, John serves as the Pastor of Layton Hills Baptist Church in Layton, Utah. He has been a devoted husband for over 30 years and is the proud father of four adult children. His faith in Jesus Christ anchors his life, and he boldly proclaims Godâs goodness, faithfulness, and might, recognizing Him as the source of every blessing.
