This channel goes with my Facebook page of the same name (link below) and will have videos of my hiking/bushwalking/camping trips etc.
I wanted to call both my channel and my Facebook page "Black Dog” Bushcraft due to my daily struggles with stress, anxiety & depression but the name was already taken on Facebook.
So why “Blackshack’sBushcraft” ? Australian humour. My surname is Whitehouse and when my family came to Australia from England in 1962, the landlord would see my mother collecting the newspaper from the front lawn every morning and say “G’day Mrs Blackshack, how ya goin’? (Hello, how are you going?) "Blackshack" stuck in my mind and so... here we are.
