Just wanted to let everyone know that tonight instead of doing one of my live circuit analysis videos I am going to be soldering live earlier. Probably at about 6 pm (3.5 hours or so) I'll go and solder!

Should I use CPLDs or FPGAs to complete the rest of Learning the Art of Electronics (LAOE)?
For some context LAOE uses a now obsolete family of CPLDs and I don't want to work with an obsolete family. It also appears companies are pushing FPGAs over CPLDs, but I think the book makes a good point in that FPGAs are more complex than needed.
