FLOCK stands for First Lutheran Online Community for Kids. We seek to be a digital home base for kids of faith to live, love, and lead like Jesus. FLOCK is an interactive supplement to a monthly magazine. Students can watch videos and create content that is informed by what they learn and experience through reading the magazine.
In 1528, the German monk, Martin Luther wrote the Small Catechism; a basic instruction book for the Church. His goal was to develop a resource for parents to use in their homes as they taught their children the fundamental truths of the Christian faith.
FLOCK desires to bring Christian education into the home today much like Luther did in the 16th Century. Using technology to support biblical truth and understanding, kids and parents alike will be led to see the importance of growing in faith and gain a deeper appreciation for all that the Lord Jesus Christ has done as their Shepherd, Savior and Lord.
