Aquaculture Scientist Dr. Juli-Anne Royes Russo a native of Jamaica, talks with Scientists, farmers and technical experts from the Caribbean that are making changes within the aquaculture industry. Dr. Russo specializes in aquatic animal nutrition, feed management, and the prevention of diseases in fish and has been a consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of United Nations (FAO) in the Aquaculture branch, USAID, IDB and Compete Caribbean. She also volunteers with USAID, Farmer to Farmer and Winrock International to provide technical services to fish farmers in developing countries. Her interests are in food and nutrition security, women in aquaculture, aquaculture biosecurity, environmental sustainability and rural development.
In 2022 she will be hosting webinars and events with special guests on aquaculture production, fish health, biosecurity and disease prevention.
