Erin Simonetti wears many titles, and author is just one of them. She is an art therapist, designer, artist, wife, friend, and most importantly, a mother. She received her masters degree in art therapy from Wayne State University. Since 2016, Erin has been practicing as a medical art therapist in the state of Michigan. Her passion began after she lost her mother to breast cancer when she was a child. This created the drive behind wanting to help families process their emotions and guide them through their cancer journey.
In 2023, Erin's second passion evolved when she became a mother. Erin has always been interested in teaching children how to cope with their emotions. This started conversations with parents, who were seeking how to help their children with their mental health. This became the motivation behind Erin's first children's book, When Everything Feels Upside Down (2024). Follow Erin to see what children's book she comes out with next!
