A YouTube Channel based around Dr Matthew Speed's experience with the Trios 3Shape scanner.
Dr Speed is a general dentist in Melbourne, Australia: His practice is based on excellence in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
The Trios 3Shape scanner is at the forefront of digital impression taking. It creates mind-blowing 3D images of teeth that can be used to fabricate crowns, veneers and implant restorations.
The accuracy of this new technology is so far beyond conventional silicon impressions and gypsum models that crowns fit like never before.
However, Dr Matthew Speed did experience some teething problems and a steep learning curve with the scanner.
Importantly, the end result: the crowns, were immaculate and fitted ideally. It was the capturing of the correct scan that proved initially difficult.
So we decided it would be a good opportunity to share our experience on YouTube for other dentists to view and hopefully help them have a stress free Trios 3shape scan, & a happy patient.
