MC Reggie is an artist from KwaZulu Natal, Durban who has been exercising his musical ability from the age of 12 through the genre of hip hop. He is an independent act that has been on multiple industry platforms, namely a few, radio and television without a deal.
He used to battle rap on Gagasi FM which was a spell of approximately 7 months defeating all competition that gained him some traction. All while consistently releasing content via music and music videos, performed live across the city as often as possible.
Acting as his own manager, Reggie balanced academics by attending Durban University of Technology obtaining his diploma in Marketing Management Sciences. During his studies he also maintained a full time job as a sales agent at a call center. Passionate about his art he never stopped making music. Funds the whole operation by investing in himself, shooting music videos, generating his own platform by organizing shows further branding includes the selling of merch.
