Atoosa Nezakaty is a vocalist and instructor specializing in Persian Classical Music. After leaving Iran at the age of 21, she spent much of her life in Europe and Canada, remaining deeply connected to her roots and the soulful music of her homeland. Atoosa pursued her passion for Classical Persian music by studying Radif (the Persian Classical Music Repertoire) under the tutelage of her father, master vocalist Parviz Nezakaty.
She has shared the stage with many accomplished musicians and has been a member of the trio HazarAva since 2016, which has won two silver medals for the best female vocalist and best trio ensemble from the Global Music Awards in 2022 for their album “The Mystery of Nightingale’s Warbling” composed by Amir Eslami. Her second album, “Heart’s Eye,” a collaboration with her father, was released in summer 2024. Atoosa's latest releases titled “Adoration,” features a collaboration between the trio “HazarAva” and composers Ehsan Matoori and Ali Montazeri.
