The age of streaming has brought us to what feels like the upper limit on convenience for consuming music.
No storage issue, voice controls, AI generated playlists (that are actually excellent).
But at a cost too.
I feel like I've totally stopped listening to music. It's now in the background, like having the radio on for company. Comforting but largely ignored, occasionally jarring.
My kids like music, but can rarely name the artist or song that is playing. Two songs from the same artist played back-to-back sounds like a bug in the algorithm.
But this presents an opportunity - and one I plan to explore on this channel.
