n June 2020, Maryland was awarded a coveted Pritzker Childrenâs Initiative grant of $1 million over three years to join 19 other states with a goal that at least one million low-income infants, toddlers, and their families be served by high quality early childhood programs by 2023 throughout the United States. Marylandâs goals are specific to our Stateâs needs.
Building on the vital groundwork laid in the âBlueprintâ legislation, B3 will help emphasize the critical time in a childâs development and build awareness around how PN-3 programs and policies can address workforce, education, and health challenges to spur economic growth for Maryland.
