Hello, my name is Joshua, and I’m from Utah. I play guitar, sing, and occasionally put words to music.
At an early age, I developed an unusual addiction to Ovaltine, which led to a stint in a rehabilitation center for children with dependency issues. Over the years, kicking the habit was a struggle, but I’m proud to say I’ve been Ovaltine-free for a year now.
When I was twelve, my mother moved my brother and me to Las Vegas. Life there was fairly uneventful—until I turned seventeen and received an invitation from Michael Jackson to hang out for a night. I politely declined.
After graduating high school, I became fascinated with the world of Elvis Presley impersonators and pursued it as a career. My dedication was so intense that, by May 1999, my intentional weight gain resulted in the need for knee and hip replacement surgery.
Feeling lost, I returned to Utah, where I now spend my time writing songs in my basement—still chasing melodies, lyrics, and whatever comes next.
