⬇️ Comment CHANGE to join the coalition to fight for justice in schools.
On the blog this week, we're sharing some thoughts about what it will mean to be a teacher during a second Trump presidency.
✊We’re building a coalition for educators and people who care about education to come together, organize, and take action to create change in our classrooms and beyond. If you want to take action for justice and change, join us.
This work is ongoing. It doesn’t begin or end with this election. When we come together in community, we can sustain this fight for the long term.
If you want to organize, fight, and speak up for justice in schools, join the movement with us. Comment CHANGE to join 💜

😬Like many of us, kids may have a lot of feelings and concerns around the US election results.
💗 Overall, be gentle with kids (and yourself) this week. You know your kiddos best, so use your judgement to determine what they may need in this moment.

😬 Like many of us, kids may be experience a lot of anxiety around the US election. Help ease their concerns as much as possible this week. Have open conversations, invite them to share their feelings, and remind them of their safety. Make sure they understand what the potential outcomes are. This will help them develop an interest in civic engagement while also easing fears they may have today. Having access to information can help kids feel more safe and less overwhelmed.
💗 Overall, be gentle with kids (and yourself) as so many of us many feel on edge and uncertain this week. You know your kiddos best, so use your judgement to determine what they may need in this moment.

We provide social justice education resources for parents and teachers of K-6th grade students. Each month, subscribe get a learning kit focused on a different theme, with all the resources you need for fun lessons and activities about social justice.
We cover topics like Anti-Racism, Environmental Sustainability, Immigration, Feminism, LGBTQ+ Identities, and much more. Kids have the chance to explore a new topic each month, make connections between justice topics, and find the areas where they are most called to make an impact.
