30 year old female, based in Central England, UK. After years of battling with multiple mental health diagnoses, in September 2016 I was finally diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) along with Severe Progesterone Intolerance. Initially I was given 3 months of Oestrogen only treatment, I thought I had found the magic cure to all my problems.... I had my life back, I was free! However, I then had to begin taking add back Progesterone and within hours of taking it my problems were back, it's been a long two years of trying to find an effective balance of progesterone which gives me optimum quality of life. In November 2017 I was placed in a chemical menopause, but by my second injection of Decapeptyl, in March 2018, my natural cycle overrode the chemicals and I found myself back in the depths of crisis..... so I returned to my Gynaecologist and was given Zoladex to induce a medical menopause and a long awaited 10 week "progesterone holiday" ….
