On February 13th, 2018, Super Bowl 52 was played Between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles, who were going against the legendary Tom Brady, were heavily unfavored as their own star QB, Carson Wentz, had torn his ACL running for a touchdown in the week 14 matchup at the Los Angeles Rams. Everyone thought the Eagles Superbowl chances where gone, as they doubted Foles' ability to get to and win the big game. Foles, a former 3rd round pick from 2012, didn't care. He heroically stood up to the challenge to keep the Eagles as the 1st seed in the NFC. Then, miraculously, he brought the Eagles to the Superbowl. Surely the magical run would end there, right? Not if Foles had anything to say about it. Foles went 28-of-43 for 373 yards passing and three TDs to one interception, of course being a dropped pass by Alshon Jefferey. And of course we can’t forget the infamous Philly Special, the fake play to end the second quarter was a genius play which saw Nick Foles.
