Anna Pingina is a singer, songwriter, and actress from the south of Russia.
Previously acclaimed as a musical performer for principal roles in major theatrical productions (Notre Dame de Paris, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story), Anna launched her solo career with a debut album “Moy” (Mine) in 2010 — a result of a 15-year immersion into ethnic folk studies — revealed a distinctive musical philosophy and enigmatic poetry. Track “Lastochka" gained wide mass recognition as part of the soundtrack to a blockbuster "Steel Butterfly".
Her 2nd album “AHIMSA” (Non-violence) revealed stance on the burning social issues and marked the change of her musical style to powerful indie rock.
In 2018 Anna took part in “The Voice” TV show in Russia and gained wide recognition for her original song "Malchonochka"
In 2019 Anna’s vocals appeared on the official soundtrack of Japanese anime series “Darling in the Franxx” (ダーリン・イン・ザ・フランキス), including two of its flagship tracks «cÅGE» and «D#regards».
