Rahul Vellal has been learning Carnatic music since he was four years old, and he is a disciple of Vid's Ranjani and Gayatri sisters from Chennai. Earlier, he has trained under Vid Kalavathy Avadhoot, Vid Suchethan Rangaswamy. He has performed extensively across seven countries and has received training in Mridanga from Vid Kulur Jayachandra Rao and Western Piano from Sri Abhishek N of the Trinity School of Music. Rahul has a passion for exploring new musical styles and has even composed and tuned music for some compositions on his youtube channel.
