The Aerosoft GmbH was founded in 1991 next to the airport Paderborn/Lippstadt and developed additional software for the Microsoft Flight Simulator and for trainee pilots in the beginning. Starting in 2002, add-ons for the Microsoft Train Simulator were added to the companyâs portfolio. Since 2007, Aerosoft increasingly focuses on publishing highly realistic simulation games. This includes âWorld of Subwaysâ, âOMSIâ and âCity Bus Simulatorâ, among others. The new âTrain Simulatorâ (in Germany) and âX-Planeâ were also published by Aerosoft. Aerosoft today belongs to the leading software publishers in the flight simulation genre.
