This page was created to first Honor the Legacy of Harriet Tubman. The name of our page “Minty’s Militia” is named so after Tubman herself. Minty being her childhood nickname, and militia representing the strong everyday men & women who stood against the atrocities of slavery. Those who liberated thousands of enslaved people leading them to freedom on the Underground Railroad.
