There has been a museum in Dawlish since 1969 and the museum is now based at a former gentlemans residence in Barton terrace, known as Knowle House.The collection was donated mainly by local people and is housed in 11 rooms over 3 floors.There are collections covering many subjects including the history of Dawlish,local geology and pottery,bygone industries ,toys of old,the exploits of Piper Bill Millin and his famous D-day bagpipes and much,much more.Please click on the link below to our website for more details.
