Since 1994 we have produced industry-leading, quality DJ equipment designed to bear the tough environment in clubs.
It started in 1992, when one product planner in Japan became interested in DJ/Club culture.
In those days, the word “DJ” wasn’t common in Japan, which made it hard for people to understand the concept of “CDJ”.
But after searching around the company, eventually, he met one architect, which led to the launch of the club-standard CDJ-500. He stayed for hours in front of DJ booths, asking artists questions, playing mixtapes until they wore out, and became a DJ himself to get closer to the scene.
Still today we keep this “hands-on approach” and produce products with artists.
