A Different Agenda came to life in 2011 when Moin Khan embarked on his solo motorcycle journey from San Francisco, California to Lahore, Pakistan. Moin, a student at San Francisco state university, felt the world media was unfairly depicting Pakistan and wanted to educate people on what Pakistanis were really about- some of the most friendly, hospitable people on the planet. In July 2011, on the day Khan left the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, he had on him some clothes and a tent, no hotel reservations, no GPS, and no paper maps. The idea was to meet and speak to as many people as possible along the way and to show them a side of Pakistan that the news never did.
Over the years, ADA evolved into an adventure company, but its spirit remained the same.
Moin invites motorcyclists from around the globe to tour his country. Today, ADA is a full adventure company. On those roads and among those people, far from curated tourist destinations, is where the real magic happens.
