Harikatha is an ancient art form of rendering stories of lord and saints who have attained the eternal salvation, comprising of songs and storytelling in a different way. I am practicing or rendering this since when I was 7 years old. My guru and father, Shri Haridas Nivane Ganesh Bhat was the first one in our family who took the mantle of doing Harikatha and spreading spiritual stories. He has perfected this art form and established a firm foundation of Harikatha in me. He is now indulged in pravachanas of Shrimad Bhagawata, Ramayana, Bhagwad Geeta, Upanishads, Mahabharata etc.
As a Harikatha artist I am interested in spreading spirituality among people. The only goal of this channel is to make people aware of the richness of our Sanathana Culture and give them the knowledge of our scriptures and epics to my capacity.
HARIKATHA is a beautiful art form which shouldn't diminish in this modernization and urbanisation.
