The Gauteng Ice Hockey Association (GIHA) is a proud affiliate of the South African Ice Hockey Federation (SAIHF) that is a registered member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Committed to the growth and development of ice hockey within our province, GIHA oversees a network of member clubs dedicated to fostering development, skill, and passion for the game.
Our association manages the provincial league, providing a competitive platform for clubs at all levels, and players of all ages. We focus on creating opportunities for players to develop their skills, gain valuable experience, and showcase their talent in an inclusive and supportive environment.
We aim to increase the awareness of the sport in South Africa, and cultivate a love for the game, ensuring a bright future for the sport in our province and country.
