I struggled to achieve academically, growing up in a dysfunctional home. Despite this, I dreamed of becoming a doctor and working for a humanitarian agency. It took me years of self-discovery and healing to realise that my childhood trauma had a profound impact on my life, hindering my ability to function and succeed. At 33, I experienced a mental breakdown, and that was the catalyst that drove me to make the bold decision to leave my career as a flight attendant behind and embark on a new path. Through my recovery journey, and an encounter with Jesus, I found the strength to heal, and the courage to pursue my goals. Currently, I'm a student at a prestigious university, working towards my goal of becoming a U.N. medical scientist. I'm proud to say that I'm not only pursuing my purpose, but also breaking generational curses, and inspiring others to do the same.
