You'll get closer to your goals by taking inch of steps. Passionately pursuing a goal is unquestionably a wonderful thing, especially if your thoughts & intention are in the appropriate places as well. But life isn't simply where you can get whatever you want.
God allows things to happen that you don't want to happen in order to disclose your intentions, test your character, test your faith & lead you to His ultimate purpose.
Sometimes, our plans run counter to His plan, but we persist anyhow because of our core motives. God will put usĀ in a circumstancesĀ that may seem favorable to usĀ but is actually unfavorable to him. I've wasted a lot of time trying to find the remedies. God, however, opened my eyes, & I'm still learning how to have the "Flexible Faith" that will enable me to stand up in the face of adversity.
