The Southsea Alternative Choir are a ragbag bunch of harmonious minstrels, singing some of the best songs ever written & raising money for a worthy cause. If you strip The Southsea Alternative Choir back to basics, we're essentially a group of music loving mates who just love getting together for a few beers and to sing songs for the sheer fun of it.
We don't really think of ourselves as a real band, we know we're not the greatest musicians and most of us wouldn't even class ourselves as singers. We just enjoy getting together and singing some of the greatest songs ever written, and if we can do some good in the process it's a bonus.
