DuvalĀ®,ā Franck Raoul-Duval, a young man from the French aristocracy, In 1982, he introduced the first of a long line of innovative footwear designs, including the iconic and world-famous āsplit-sole ballet slipper.ā After many trials and adjustments, the split-sole ballet shoe āPro1ā was born. At the Paris Expo in 1994, this split-sole ballet shoe caused a great sensation and won numerous applause. It was called the biggest revolution and innovation in the world.
