Hmm… We’ve all heard the rumors about a Frusciante ‘62 signature strat, but nothing confirmed.
I’ve also seen the Fender Custom Shop has had a ‘62 model for a couple of months now (first image).
Now, I found that Fender Custom Shop has another ‘62 strat, where the relicing looks more like JF’s strat.
Both still doesn’t look like John’s, but I find all of this a bit strange. 🤔

Feels strange to not have worked on anything YouTube related for over a week. Must have been years since last time that happened. But it did happen just now because I was away in Chamonix, France, for a week of climbing, mountaineering and hiking.
It has been very refreshing to let go of old habits and get completely absorbed in a new context, with amazing scenery and good company. An experience like this really do help to bring out new creative energy for me to share here on YouTube. :)
Sorry if this post feels irrelevant to my channel, but I felt like I wanted to share it because I’ve been so consistent with working on YouTube videos for years at this point.
And for the curious people, the first image are us at the top of Gran Paradiso in north west of Italy at over 4000 meters. The three other images are from climbing the Aiguilles Rouges.
