Anthony Antoine is a community activist, performance poet & recognized trailblazer of the LGBT Music Scene. For over 20 years, Anthony worked intricately with non-profits on the front lines of HIV/STI prevention in Atlanta. His most recent role as a Senior Research Coordinator at Emory University. Anthony, married his husband Michael in 2016 but lost him to a short battle with cancer less than 2 years later. They shared a twenty-year friendship that inspired Anthony starting The Michael-Anthony Foundation. Anthony is a father, great friend, listener and a featured writer for the It Gets Better book and campaign.
