"The Pedagogy of Moky Huynh" is a theatrical play, or literary work, for the digital era. It synthesizes, or integrates, the dynamic disciplines of academia and performing arts. The setting of the story (based on real people) takes place in Vietnam and Los Angeles through which an individual by the name of Moky Huynh (mock-y hwin) beseeches his sister, Iris, to compose a 13-page persuasive essay for his 50th birthday present. The "essay prompt" that he assigns her begs the question: Is life worth living? Through multiple Zoom sessions, Moky earnestly implores his sister -- to take assiduous notes based on his numerous anecdotes with regard to personal vignettes from his lived experiences. These reflective parables will hopefully provide Iris with the sagacity and pertinent knowledge to ascertain the answer to Moky's essay prompt. With that in mind, enjoy the marvelous ride.
