The Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) is a State Corporation in Kenya established under the Agricultural Development Corporation Act, Cap 444. Since its inception in 1965, ADC has been at the forefront of supporting agricultural growth and food security in Kenya.
ADC’s mandate is to promote and manage agricultural enterprises, develop and multiply quality seed and livestock breeds, and support farmers through research, innovation, and partnerships. The Corporation plays a key role in commercial agriculture, technology transfer, and capacity building to enhance productivity across the agricultural value chain.
Through its wide network of farms and research stations, ADC contributes to the Big Four Agenda on Food Security, the Vision 2030 goals, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering sustainable and inclusive agricultural development.
