Last Gang Records is a music label founded in 2003, releasing the first Metric album 'Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?' in 2004. Primary operations are based in Toronto, Canada with offices in London, England and Los Angeles, California. Last Gang's core activities involve music production and distribution, international licensing, marketing and promotion, and overall project management. Last Gang isn't genre specific as a label. The company launched Metric, Death From Above 1979, MSTRKRFT and Crystal Castles, and has combined successfully with acts including Chromeo, The New Pornographers, K-OS, Boys Noize and Tiga on varied licensing deals.
