In march 2021, while furloughed from work I found and bought a 15 year old narrowboat that's never been in the water, its basically brand new... under the surface rust. It’s been started by two previous owners but for the most part it’s been left abandoned in a field. It’s a 2006 soar valley boat with a barris shire 45 engine with only 3 hours on the clock. I'm gonna have a go at bringing it back to looking new and at fitting it out myself, I've never tried this before, this is a record of that process.
