I have lived with Village Dogs who were born in captivity in Korean meat farms. They have trauma and are very fearful. Living with these former "meat dogs" has been hard but also the most wonderful thing. I work extensively with Village Dogs and free-ranging dogs who are now in homes, puppy mill rescues, and Korean meat dogs.
Here you can learn and do simple things to help your dog better feel safe and understand the world he or she now lives in, and build trust and a better relationship.
