Poonam Gururajan is a rising star in the Australian wedding industry and founder of The Maharani Diaries. After realising that the Australian wedding industry in particular wasn’t fully representative of the wider society, this formed part of her motivation and drive to start writing about South Asian weddings. She is based in Sydney, Australia and recently became a full-time wedding planner. She's worked on and planned numerous events and weddings and absolutely loves helping people create memorable celebrations.
