My name is Tracey Cheuvront and I am a professional woodworker, educator, and toolmaker. My production work consists primarily of fabricating carving tools along with carving kitchen/home goods and tool handles using both hand and power methods. Some of the topics I teach include properties of green and dry wood, strategic breakdown of logs and use of grain, understanding grind geometry of blades and how they interact with wood, and carving techniques centered around the shave horse.
