“I always told myself that one day I would be in a Hollywood movie. But not for one second did I think it would involve director Matthew Michael Carnahan and producers Anthony and Joe Russo.
“I feel hugely humbled and really appreciate this experience because these chances don’t come easy. All the auditions, setbacks, castings, recalls and ‘sorry not this times’ got me to where I am today.
“I guess it’s part of the journey. You can achieve anything in life, tell yourself every day – I will make it because I will never give up.”
Mosul is provisionally scheduled to be released early next year. Baghdad Central will also air in the New Year.
