First, I am a music fan that likes to pick a guitar when I have time. I am not a professional musician, video editor, or sound editor. I don't have delusions of grandeur that I am. I love playing, and wish I'd had someone to jam with when I was young. This is the best way that I could figure out a virtual jam session.
Second, I share covers for two reasons 1) For intermediate pickers to watch what I do in my versions of these songs and maybe pick up the chords, hammer-ons, pull-offs, solos etc - simply by watching the video. 2) To gain confidence and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. I do want to get better.
Finally, my tutorials are made to reflect the way I PLAY THE SONGS. It is not a lesson on how to play exact replicas. Quite frankly, I'm not that good, and I don't care all that much. Playing it YOUR way is as important as the way THEY play. It's art, not science.
