Continental Drift is a column that appears in UK music magazine R2, formerly known as Rock'n'Reel. It covers foreign language music for English speaking fans and reviews CDs, DVDs and live gigs.
This page will feature videos from gigs where artists have given me permission to film or take photographs. All videos here are published for the purposes of criticism, review and information. As with my photography, the style of the videos will be intimate, candid and amateur. They will be filmed, using cheap cameras and mobile phones from the audience and viewers will see what the audience sees.
Continental Drift features music by any artist from those on major labels to the otherwise unknown. If you want your CD or DVD to be reviewed or to invite me to a gig then contact me here or over on Facebook and I'll tell you how to submit your work. There are only 2 rules. The music must be good and it must be performed in a foreign language. No English language music please.
