From our design studio overlooking Falmouth bay, we design beautiful clothes, footwear and accessories that celebrate quality and simplicity. Inspired by a thriving local community of modern creatives, our collections have a fresh, contemporary feel influenced by our coastal life here in Cornwall.
Seasalt’s story began on a wet August day in 1981 when the Chadwick family went into a little shop in Adelaide Street, Penzance. They only went in for some waterproof coats but ended up buying the premises! Those early days – when our customers were the fishermen, farmers, painters and potters of St Ives – continue to influence our products today. Using the best materials and featuring imaginative prints produced by Sophie Chadwick and our small team of in-house artists and illustrators, we stay true to our roots by selling wonderfully wearable clothes that are designed to be loved and stand the test of time.
