Hi everyone! My name is Lauren and I have been a nurse for almost four years, most of which I have spent in the ICU float pool working in the surgical, cardiac, and medical ICUs. While in nursing school I developed a talent for creating mnemonics to help me remember the avalanche of information we were expected to memorize. I have continued to come up with new tricks while studying for various nursing certification exams, including the CCRN exam. These memory tricks have stuck with me and I use them nearly daily on the floor. I also have a passion for teaching and hope to pass some of these memorization tips and study hacks on to other nurses and students with the hope they will help you as much as they have helped me!
