This channel is named after the well-known Muslim traveler Abu Abdullah Muhammad, Ibn Battuta (1304-1369) who was born in a family of Islamic legal scholars in Tangier on 24th February, 1304.
He was too a scholar and explorer who travelled more than any other explorer in pre-modern history, totaling around 117,000 km (73,000 miles). Near the end of his life, he dictated an account of his journeys, titled A Gift to Those Who Contemplate the Wonders of Cities and the Marvels of Travelling but commonly known as The Rihla.
The purpose of this YouTube channel is to make people aware of different places of our beautiful Homeland. Public is shifting from reading books to vlogs and Videos.
