Euromed Audiovisual III supports the development of cinematographic and audiovisual capacities in the South Mediterranean Region through the financing of co-operation projects and technical assistance to 9 partner countries and territories: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, occupied Palestinian Territory, Syria and Tunisia.
Euromed Audiovisual III reflects the policy of the European Union, which considers cinema and audiovisual as key factors for the expression and dissemination of cultural identity, but also vehicles for growth, regional cooperation and job creation.
Its aims are:
- Training of audiovisual professionals
- Developing capacities of the film & audiovisual sectors
- Developing an Euro-Mediterranean audience
