SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is a 195-bed, not-for-profit pediatric medical center that serves children from eastern Missouri, southern Illinois, from across the U.S. and from around the world. We are a teaching hospital affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine and other educational institutions.
Our Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center (certified in both Missouri and Illinois) and our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are both the highest level designation. Other specialties include: cardiology, critical care, minimally invasive surgery, fetal surgery, oncology, sleep medicine, gastroenterology, among others.
State-wide poison control services are provided through the Missouri Poison Center. Perinatal, sports medicine and other outreach services make up a network of programs distributed throughout Missouri and Illinois to help fulfill a mission to provide for both health and safety.
