Within the framework of ITC’s Global Textiles and Clothing Programme (GTEX) and its related work in the Middle East and North Africa (MENATEX), ITC works with the Textile & Clothing sector in Egypt to increase the export competitiveness of enterprises while building institutional capacities of T&C-related support institutions.
The GTEX MENATEX programme is funded by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of the Swiss Confederation and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), focusing presently on the six priority countries of Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan Tajikistan and Tunisia.
